In the recent years, technology has been intertwined with the progress of humankind: we see changes in our daily life, our standard of living, the way we trade, work, acquire knowledge and many more. Despite the undeniable benefits we enjoy already, and the ones future generations will, we should not underestimate the risks that arise from the way we use technology in our daily lives.
Tech Reboot is an initiative that aims to inform about the dangers arising from technology’s reckless use, how the design and operation of specific tech applications burdens the mental health of users, reinforces political polarization, the breakdown of social cohesion and of democracy itself.
We take action: educational workshops, presentations, but also trainings for the healthy use of new technologies. Our activities also concern advocacy on citizens’ protection in matters of cyber security, digital rights and other issues that may arise in a period of digital transformation.
